Swami narrates several childhood lilas of Krsna, from his birth up to the liberation of Putana, and gives an in-depth commentary on the meaning of various aspects of the lilas. After examining the demonic qualities that Putana represents, Swami cautions us to be wary of hypocrisy and cheating on the path of devotion and provides several examples of our sampradaya's discretion in this regard, epitomized by the saying, "Better to be a poor man than a thief."
