Swami discusses many important devotional conclusions in the context of Maharaja Prataparudra's desire to receive an audience with Caitanya Mahaprabhu and of the arrival in Puri of Mahaprabhu's devotees from Bengal. The king was so despondent that he was prepared to give up his kingdom, considering it worthless, as all opulence is worthless in the absence of a conscious connection with Krsna. Later, the king was astonished in witnessing the prema-sankirtana of the devotees from Bengal and their atypical behavior upon entering the tirtha of Jagannatha Puri, whereupon Bhattacarya explained (and Swami elaborates) on the nature of the raga marga.
