In this short lecture Swami relates the story of how King Prataparudra received Mahaprabhu's mercy because of the expertise of his devotees. Swami describes how Nityananda took an old garment of Mahaprabhu's to the King and goes on to explain how we are completely dependent on the mercy of the Vaisnavas and especially Nityananda Prabhu if we want to make a connection with the infinite. Swami's words encourage us to believe in the magnanimity, simplicity, and superiority of bhakti and advises us to weed out the tendency toward impersonalism and faith in our own reasoning.
